Last year, our charitable giving program, alongside the Longo’s Family Charitable Foundation (LFCF), donated over $2 million to local charities, organizations and sponsored events. Our focus areas for giving are disease prevention & education, child & youth leadership initiatives, and child nutrition & food aid programs.

$2.5M to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation
Longo’s and The Longo’s Family Charitable Foundation (LFCF) are proud to announce its donation of $2.5M to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. This legacy donation, and the largest philanthropic gift from the Longo family to date, will go towards the Tumour Immunotherapy Program and the Space Transformation Campaign at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, as well as towards the ongoing sponsorship of Scotiabank Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer.

At the corporate level, Longo’s supports the events and causes of registered not-for-profit organizations that benefit the communities in which Longo’s serves, as well as sponsorship opportunities that align with our three main areas of focus.
Longo’s Store Community Giving Program
Longo’s stores support locally based events, schools, churches, charities and causes that directly impact its community. Support will take the form of a Longo’s gift card.
