Pear Chip Blondies

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups Longo’s Organic All Purpose Flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

3/4 cup Longo’s Essentials Country Churned Unsalted Butter, melted and cooled

1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar

2 Longo’s Large Enriched Coop Eggs

1 tbsp vanilla

1 cup chopped pear chips (see 'Pear Chip' recipe)

1/2 cup coarsely chopped Longo’s Pecans

1/2 cup each semisweet and white chocolate chips

Directions

  • In bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. In separate bowl, whisk together butter and sugar until well combined. Whisk in eggs, one at a time. Whisk in vanilla. Pour over flour mixture and stir until just combined. Stir in pear chips, pecans and both chocolate chips.
  • Scrape mixture into 13 x 9-inch metal cake pan lined with Longo’s Parchment Paper, spreading to fit pan. Bake in centre of preheated 350°F oven for about 25 minutes or until lightly golden. Let cool in pan on rack.
